Bernardo, italienischer Maler, * Florenz um 1295, ✝ um 1348; steht in der unmittelbaren Nachfolge Giottos und ist zugleich von der siensischen gotischen Malerei beeinflusst; war in Florenz tätig. Neben Fresken (Santa Croce, Florenz; um 1330) schuf er viele kleine Andachtsbilder sowie kleine Klappaltäre, u. a. »Madonna zwischen dem heiligen Nikolaus und dem heiligen Matthäus« (1328; Florenz, Uffizien), Marienaltar aus San Pancratio (1340-45; ebenda), Marientriptychon (um 1330/35; Altenburg, Lindenaumuseum), Marientriptychon (1333; Florenz, Loggia del Bigallo).
